Naughty Dobby | Scraptastic All I Want For Christmas Is You kit

Now Christmas is over I finally had some time to myself and found a few hours to scrap! I decided to do another layout with my Scraptastic Club kit and add-on from December "All I Want For Christmas Is You". The photos of our naughty elf Dobby were already printed so I could get started straight away!

Here's what I did:

And a few detail photos ... I got a new camera and have to find all the right settings again. As I "only" replaced my old Canon EOS 400D for a Canon EOS 700D I thought it would be easy, but it turned out harder than I thought. The new camera is many more possibilities, but I also keep getting an error when I try to shoot in Av. Don't know if it's my old lens or the new camera. I guess I'll be trying for a little while longer. Okay enough about my camera, here're a few close-ups of my layout:

And this is the main All I Want For Christmas Is You kit:

And the add-on:

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you're having a fabulous day!

Sharing my last Pebbles projects!

Today I thought I would share the last projects I created for my guest design gig for Pebbles Inc. using their fabulous Winter Wonderland collection on my blog (it's possible you already saw this on their blog or on facebook). Here are a layout and some planner pages which I love to do too.

Let's start with the layout I made. This time I wanted to do a layout using more than one photo (which is what I normally tend to do). The design is an easy one. I started with three vertical stips of paper in the middle of my page and arranged the photos on the right and left side of it.

Next I created this cluster:

I totally adore the large dimensional rosette and decided that would be the focal point of my page. I layered it onto one of the huge glitter die-cut snowflakes and tucked a Christmas tree under it as well:

And after adding a few more stickers, snowflakes and a few drops of color mist I was done!

Supplies:
Winter Wonderland Snowfun patterned paper SKU: PBWW-33005
Winter Wonderland Blizzard patterned paper SKU: PBWW-33006
Winter Wonderland Winter Walk patterned paper SKU: PBWW-33007
Winter Wonderland Chips Glitter Snowflakes Die-Cut Shapes SKU: PBWW-733027
Winter Wonderland Chips Ephemera w/Glitter Die-Cut Shapes SKU: PBWW-733028
Winter Wonderland Glitter Stickers Icons SKU: PBWW-733019
Winter Wonderland Paper Embellishments Rosettes SKU: PBWW-733025

Next up are my planner pages. Because the Winter Wonderland collection contains so much beautiful washi tape and so many fun stickers, it's really perfect to decorate planner pages with!! Here's a quick look at all the washi tape that one booklet holds: fantastic right?!

For my first week I used mainly lots of the cute snowmen:

Here are a few detail photos: did you see those awesome coffee cup stickers!

And isn't that moose fabulous?! If you're wondering what the word "Sint" stands for ... on December the 5th we (in The Netherlands) celebrate "Sinterklaas" and Sint is short for Sinterklaas (like Santa is short for Santa Claus).

All the paper strips with the text I used were cut off the bottom of the sheets of patterned paper. It's like those were made for this purpose!

And here's my planner page for the next week, this time focusing on all those awesome penguins:

And two detail photos:

How I adore this Winter Wonderland collection!!!

Supplies:
Winter Wonderland Snowfun patterned paper SKU: PBWW-33005
Winter Wonderland Blizzard patterned paper SKU: PBWW-33006
Winter Wonderland Toasty Warm patterned paper SKU: PBWW-33010
Winter Wonderland Glitter Stickers Icons SKU: PBWW-733019
Winter Wonderland Washi Tape Booklet SKU: PBWW-733029

These were the last projects I created as guest designer for Pebbles. I had an awesome time creating with their product and really hope they ask me again!! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Last Minute Christmas Cards - Imaginisce

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing some last minute Christmas cards on Imaginisce's blog. If you're a procrastinator (like I am) and you still haven't finished creating your Christmas cards, then I've got the solution for you! Here's a Christmas card you can do in 5 minutes and it still looks great! I was inspired by a Silhouette cut file from Sarah Bailey, but created this without my Cameo, so everyone can do this!

Here's what I did:

And here's how I did it:

Cut a 4"x 4" card base from white cardstock. Punch 6 hearts and 1 star. Adhere hearts upside down using 3D foam adhesive, add star too. Choose sentiment stickers for the trunk and last but not least adhere 4 glam rocks using your I-Rock tool. And you're done!

How fun are these? And you don't need a mountain of paper (you don't even need Christmas paper) or any fancy tools ...  just a few scraps of paper, a heart punch, a star punch, a bit of bling and some sentiment stickers!

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, stickers (Give Thanks), glam rocks; American Crafts: cardstock. Tools: Imaginisce I-Rock Tool, I-Rock Jewel Tray.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and I wish you a very merry Christmas!!
Hugs,
Monique

Dreaming of a White Xmas - Imaginisce

Hi everyone, my Imaginisce blog post is up on their blog! As I'm in a very Christmassy mood (as I'm sure many of you are too) I thought I'd create a Christmas layout. The photos were taken the evening we were decorating the tree last year.

I started this layout by cutting out all the Christmas trees from a sheet of white cardstock and adhered this on a sheet of striped patterned paper from Imaginisce's "Give Thanks" collection. Next I matted one of the photos of another piece of paper of the Give Thanks collection and placed the two photos on a piece of burlap and tucked two gold foil doilies between the photos and the burlap. This I adhered in the bottom left corner of my page and added a few die-cuts from an older Imaginisce collection "Colors of Christmas" on both the left and right side of the photos. The title and some jewels came last.

And here are a few close-ups, the ribbon was cut and sealed with my I-Magicut tool:

I added a bit of bling to the holly die-cut:

And a detail photo of the title. I love using letters of different sizes and colors! Here I'm using Thickers called "Emma" (brown glitter) and "Giggles" (white foam).

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper (Give Thanks), die-cuts, bling (Colors of Christmas); American Crafts: cardstock, Thickers. Tools: Imaginisce I-Magicut.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a great day!
